Daan specialises in corporate transactions and advises clients on mergers & acquisitions and other strategic transactions. He previously practised as an advocaat for seven and a half years, during which he also completed the specialist M&A programme at VU Amsterdam to deepen his transactional expertise. Since 2025, his activities have included working as an independent legal adviser and as counsel to Guldemond Advocaten.
Alongside his legal practice, Daan is a property entrepreneur in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. He owns a property investment company operating on several islands and is a director of a development company involved in a number of major construction projects on Curaçao. Combining his legal and entrepreneurial experience, he works primarily from Curaçao.
